How to Check Your Benefits
You can call your carrier and simply ask: "What are my benefits for CPT code 97802?" — then listen to your benefits. Our team is also happy to help you navigate your coverage. Call us at 704-846-7105.

The long answer: MDD Nutrition is a private practice office here to help our clients reach their wellness goals. We submit claims as a courtesy to our clients. We passionately believe that Nutrition Counseling and wellness services should be covered — but ultimately, the client is responsible for any balances due.
If your claim is denied: Call your insurance company and ask why nutrition counseling isn't covered. You have the right to appeal.
